Flynn
-
- The Rogue Runner
Can’t
imagine why I had another boy as he can be
totally brilliant (10%) or completely awful
(90%)
He
loves all humans, hates most other dogs and
is a really exuberant character. Once we got
the weaves sorted he managed to become
senior by winning 4 novice classes but we
then had a bit of a relapse.
He’s
achieved several second and third places but
can’t get those elusive wins to go
advanced. He has qualified for the Pedigree
semis at the Royal Show and won the
invitation event there in 2004 although out,
through injury, for much of the year. I’m
hoping that, if he stays fit and sound, 2005
could be his best year yet!

Kayos

- Ashpen
Amazing Ace
My
first black and white and a proper little
Madam. Descended from Mary Ray’s Mr. Chips
as are Flynn (her 4 year older full brother)
and Kai.
She
has been the most awkward, obstinate and
stubborn dog it’s ever been my misfortune
to train! Unable to weave, she won a
Gamblers class and acquitted herself well at
the final. In November 2003 (in the only
Novice Graduate she’s ever run) she
bounced round the course to come second and,
to prove that was no fluke, a messy clear in
Novice Jumping placed us fifth.
I’m
hoping that Kayos has now “come of age”
and made a New Year’s resolution to become
an agility dog |

My Fizzical Attraction
Fizz
is a small, red, working Cocker Spaniel who
was sold through a pet shop and believed to
have originally come from Ireland.
She
has just come to live with us, at around a
year old, and has commenced her agility
training at Upanova Tigers. A proper little
whiz kid so, with Alan and Jayne’s
experience with Minis, anything is possible!
