Alan Mitchell

Jazz -    -  (Grelganna Blues)

Born October 8th 1996, WSD Tri Bitch.  Dam “Tiffy Two” Grelganna’s Gem Stone cdex, udex, wdex,  and the Sire “Wicklow Lad (W. T. Champion) an Altricia Line.

Started competing April 1998,  May 1999 the Jazz got her first clear round 1st Novice Jumping. This won her out of Starters over the next few weeks Jazz won several Elementary classes including her very last Agility one at the Agility Club show at Luton.

Jazz struggled with the lack of training and results showed i.e. none, and did contemplate on giving up Agility, until we were introduced to Alan Bray at Fox Agility.

Since then results have been achieved several jumping wins and have many top ten places jazz won Novice Agility (believe it or not also at the Agility Club show) June 2001 made her Senior. Has qualified for the Norfolk Novice Finals 2001 and finished 4th (fastest time ,but dropped the last pole)

At her first Senior Show Pembrokeshire was 2nd Senior Agility and is still gaining many top ten places.

Jazz is now 9 years old and still full of enthusiasm, who knows could get to Olympia yet!!!!!!

 

 

Soul - - (Just Moore Blues)

WSD Tri Dog. Parents are in Agility but the background is from Obedience Champions. Born October 1999 trained from a pup at UPANOVA TIGERS AGILITY by ALAN BRAY.

Started competing May 2001 and has 6 first places, 4 seconds, 2 thirds and 1 fourth place went Senior April 2002  and has qualified for the Pedigree Novice Grand National Finals and the Adam Derby Finals …………… still trying for Crufts and Olympia.

Was the Winner of the Upanova Agility Club "Most Improved Dog of the Year"

Now an Advanced Handler with Soul in September 2002 WINNING 4 Agility Classes also WINNING the Pedigree Novice Grand Notional Final at Longleat at the end of that season.

2003 Many good results with soul qualifying for the Chum Semi at Stoneleigh and the Power and Speed Final at the Agility Club Event.  Was the Winner of the Upanova Agility Club "Senior Dog of the Year"

2004 Was not a good year, with injuries also handling problems withheld results.  However did qualify for the Advanced Power and Speed Final .. again but failed to get a result,  WON the Upanova Agility Club "Senior Dog of the Year" again.

2005 Was a bit up and down Soul is trying to  take over in the ring (training- no problem) working on this, had some good results,  did qualify for the Advanced Power and Speed Final again by winning 2 qualifiers, took a poles down in the final. Soul still finishes in the top 20 of the countrysAgility club  advanced dogs league.
