Training Experience
Alan was brought up with Border Collies since
being just 6 months old & boasts a wealth of
experience of handling various breeds of dog &

from basic introduction to advanced agility
handler training.
On invitation Alan & Jayne run training days
for clubs all over the country & have trained
specialist clubs on many occasions including
the British Poodle & English Shetland Sheepdog
clubs in addition to the Spanish World Cup
team & a Scottish training week in 2002.
Alan is well known for training fast accurate
contacts, handling & motivational methods.
These are based on short, sharp exercises
suited to all breeds of dog ensuring they both
enjoy the sport & fully understand what is
required of them.
Training instruction is provided from basic
puppy introduction through to competition
level, onto advanced. Training covers
motivational improvement, specific obstacle &
combination of obstacle recognition,
specialist course handling, handling fast dogs
& problem identification and correction.

all stolen in March 1999. Tiggy was recovered
some 5 months later but the others all lost
forever. (It is however believed that they
have all been renamed & were based in Belfast,
Northern Ireland).
Since the autumn of 1999 Alan & Jayne have
obtained & trained new puppies through their
own ‘UPANOVA TIGERS’ agility-training club.
Alan has a good sense of humour, (Well he does

during the winter months with Pedigree

intensively as in the summer.
This is supplemented by the daily intake of
the following tablets, Odourless Garlic Oil
for the blood & Primrose Oil for the joints.
In addition Tigg & Raeven have Devils Claw &
Glucosaphine tablets for cartilage, discs &
joints. Puppies are fed on Pedigree Puppy to
